Before launching Evolution Room, Corryn worked in corporate finance at Merrill Lynch. On paper, she was doing everything right. Like many founders, she found herself feeling disconnected from her own vision and purpose. The turning point came when she began asking bigger questions about who she was becoming and what kind of impact she wanted to make.
Inspired by the memory of her late father and a growing desire to live in alignment with her values, Corryn made a decision that felt both terrifying and inevitable. She resigned. Then, with no business background, no sales experience, and no roadmap, she launched Evolution Room in January 2020. Just weeks later, the world shut down. Not exactly ideal timing. But the timing forced her to learn quickly, trust herself deeply, and build a business rooted in what she knew best: human transformation.

One of the themes that surfaced throughout Corryn’s story is something many entrepreneurs eventually discover: Your business can only grow as much as you do. That belief became the foundation of Evolution Room and eventually led to the development of her signature framework, The Evolution Blueprint, which helps founders identify where they are unintentionally getting stuck and how to move through those patterns more efficiently.

Advice to Her Younger Self
When asked what advice she would give herself at the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey, Corryn didn’t hesitate.
“You need to stop diverting from your vision.”
She explained that many visionary founders know exactly what they want to build, but then spend years looking to other people for permission, validation, or instructions. Instead, she would tell her younger self to trust the certainty she already felt. To stay connected to her North Star. And to stop looking outside herself for answers she already possessed.
