A Twine + Rise & Thrive Fundraiser, benefiting The Road Continues

Every woman has a moment where everything falls apart, and a moment after, where she decides to build something new. This November, we’re shifting from our traditional BuildHER workshop series and embracing our theme of gratitude. We’re gathering to hear those stories, out loud, in a space full of women to enlighten, inspire and support a charity who is actively helping women transition out of these difficult situations in real time.

BuildHER Back: Stories of Resilience is an inaugural fundraiser brought to you by a collaboration of women-led communities, bringing together women who’ve rebuilt (financially, emotionally, physically) to share what it actually took to start over. Every story answers the same question: what is the turning point and how do you rebuild?

Held at Mujeres Brew House in Barrio Logan, a 100% women-owned brewery that generously waived their venue fee because this mission and community matter to them. This is a night of connection, honesty, and generosity, with proceeds supporting women rebuilding their lives through The Road Continues.

Stories of Resilience Speaker Panel — Now Forming

This panel will feature women who’ve rebuilt and come out stronger on the other side. If you or a woman you know is ready to share her story of coming through hardship and building something new, we’d love to hear from her. Please share or complete this form and we will follow up shortly!

How to Support Fundraising Efforts

1. Tickets & Registration:

Choose General Admission ($20, includes one drink ticket) or Buy Her a Blazer ($50, includes one drink ticket and funds a professional blazer for a woman stepping into her next chapter through The Road Continues). Food and additional drinks available for purchase at the bar all night. All event proceeds go directly to The Road Continues.

2. Sponsorship Options:

Sponsor a piece of the night and put your name behind it. From covering adding to the food & beverages for the evening to funding the photo station, all sponsorship dollars go straight to expenses we’d otherwise pull from ticket revenue, meaning more of every ticket reaches The Road Continues. Sponsoring is as easy as selecting your preferred tier when you register, see ticketing options for sponsor details. 3. Raffle Donations & Tickets: 

Donate a prize, buy a ticket, or both. Raffle tickets are available the night of, and 100% of proceeds go directly to The Road Continues. If you or your business would like to donate a raffle item, reach out to teresa@twinetogether.com

4. Clothing Drive:

In the spirit of gratitude and of exactly what The Road Continues does, bring your finest gently-used professional attire to donate at the door. Think blazers, tops, pieces that made you feel unstoppable. Your closet’s past bests could be someone else’s next chapter.
