Meet Amber Crocker: Holistic Feng Shui Coach, Helping People Get Unstuck by Shifting the Energy Around Them

By Teresa Howes | Twine Featured Founder Interview

Amber Crocker isn’t your average life coach. She’s a Holistic Feng Shui Coach — blending the principles of feng shui, mindset coaching, and wellness to help people shift their space, their energy, and their lives. After burning out in the craft beer industry, Amber turned a personal health crisis into a mission: to help others get unstuck by making small, intentional changes that create massive impact.

“Sometimes people are stuck not because of what’s in their head, but because of what’s around them.”

From Beer Boss to Holistic Coach

Amber spent over a decade in the craft beer industry, working in operations, brand development, and event planning for local breweries. She loved the creativity and community, but the pressure and pace eventually caught up with her.

“I was running myself into the ground. I was working nonstop, and my health started to crash.”

After being laid off from a brewery where she’d poured years of her energy — and seeing none of the proceeds from its sale — she tried taking another beer job. But the stress made it clear: it was time to walk away.

The Pivot: Cheers to Health

With a bachelors degree in nutrition and a passion for wellness, Amber enrolled in a health coaching program. Originally, she thought she’d help craft beer drinkers lose weight — but quickly realized she felt more aligned working with women.

“As I studied, I learned about something called feng shui. It’s a holistic practice that made everything click for me. I started integrating it into my life and coaching, and I saw results — fast.”

Amber became a board-certified health and life coach, but it was her love of feng shui that lit the path for her signature approach. She began helping clients declutter their homes, adjust their environments, and reframe their mindsets — all at once.

What is Feng Shui Coaching?

Feng shui is about more than rearranging your furniture. It’s about setting intention behind the energy of your space — whether you’re calling in clarity, healing, abundance, or motivation. Amber combines that with mindset tools and practices to help clients move through resistance and take aligned action.

“When you shift your space, you shift your energy. You’re sending a message to your brain and your nervous system that something is changing — and that creates momentum.”

Entrepreneurship: The Magic and the Messy Middle

Amber has been solo-employed since 2021. Her favorite part? Freedom and creativity. The hardest part? Focus and prioritization.

“I have so many ideas. The challenge is figuring out what’s actually worth pursuing and what’s just noise.”

She’s worked with a business coach to help with quarterly planning and has intentionally pulled back from offerings that didn’t align — including a recent beta program that she sunsetted to stay true to her core focus.

“Sometimes the lesson is in trying something and realizing it’s not the right fit. That’s still a win.”

Real Talk: Branding, Burnout, and the Online Comparison Game

Amber is refreshingly open about the realities of building a business. She’s still refining her brand identity (currently operating as Cheers to Chi) and deciding whether to merge her personal and business platforms.

“Sometimes I feel like I’m behind — like everyone else has their sh*t together and I’m still figuring it out. But then I remember: no one actually does.”

Advice to Fellow Founders

Amber’s biggest advice to her younger self — and to anyone just starting out — is to establish a personal brand early on. It makes pivoting and evolving so much easier. She also encourages new entrepreneurs to start before they’re ready and to embrace the messy process.

“Don’t wait for it to be perfect. Try it, test it, tweak it. That’s where the clarity comes from.”

How the Twine Community Can Support

Amber’s ideal clients are people who feel stuck — emotionally, professionally, or energetically — and are ready for change but don’t know where to start. She’s excited to be part of the Twine community and is especially passionate about speaking opportunities, workshops, and collaborations that get her work into more people’s hands.

“You don’t have to overhaul your life. Small, intentional shifts can make all the difference.”

She’ll be co-hosting Twine’s upcoming Sunday Funday: Stretch, Sip & Swap event in July, sharing simple tools to help attendees align their energy, declutter their space, and feel more grounded in the season ahead.
