Meet Rebecca Ritchey: Founder of Sibus Law Group Helping people navigate family law with clarity, compassion, and control.
By Teresa Howes | Twine Featured Founder Interview
When Rebecca Ritchey launched Sibus Law Group, she didn’t just want to practice law—she wanted to change the way people experience it. Focused on family law, her firm supports clients through divorce, custody, support, and marital agreements with a unique twist: flat-fee pricing and client-driven strategy.
“Instead of handing over a retainer and hoping for the best, Sibus clients stay empowered and informed. We’re putting the control back in the hands of our clients. They choose the services that fit their needs and budget, and we help them move forward with confidence.”
A Holistic Approach to Hard Times
Rebecca understands that family law—especially divorce—is deeply personal and emotionally charged. Her team, which is primarily women-led, takes a compassionate, whole-picture approach, looking beyond legal documents to the real-life impacts, especially for women.
“We know the invisible labor women carry isn’t always seen in the courtroom. We help make it visible, and we advocate for it.”
From Sales to Strategy
Rebecca didn’t take a traditional path into law. After working in sales and training, she went to law school not quite knowing what would come next. What did come next? Her own firm.
“I’ve never really worked for someone else in the full sense,” she says. “So when I passed the bar, I decided to build the business I wanted to work in.”
That entrepreneurial spirit has driven her ever since. From intake systems to client education, she’s constantly innovating—and her team is right there with her.
“I love building things. Once something’s running smoothly, I’m ready to tackle the next challenge.”
Support, Strategy & Staying Grounded
Being your own boss has its highs and lows. Rebecca is honest about the stress that comes with the financial unpredictability of running a law firm—but she’s built a support system that helps her ride the waves. Between a trusted business coach, friends and family, and the occasional vent session, she stays grounded in her purpose: helping clients rebuild their lives.
She also sees a huge value in community—which is why she’s excited about Twine.
“Sometimes, you just need connection. I’ve never regretted meeting up with a group of women. You always leave inspired.”
What’s Next for Sibus Law Group?
Rebecca recently restructured her firm’s offerings into a three-tier system to meet clients wherever they are—whether they need basic legal guidance, hands-on negotiation support, or courtroom representation. True to form, everything is still built around transparency, strategy, and client empowerment.
Her goal? To help people not just “get through” family law, but to move forward—with dignity, direction, and a clear vision for life after legal proceedings.
“I always ask clients: where do you want to be a year from now? That vision shapes everything we do.”
Something You Might Not Know
Sibus Law Group doesn’t just do the legal work—they help clients map out a plan for their next chapter. From values-based goal setting to realistic budgeting, Rebecca blends strategy and support in a way that feels part lawyer, part life coach.
“The law is one piece—but knowing what matters to you is what shapes the outcome.”
